11/19/2009 Request to CA: please, fix faces' bug (clone armies) I'd like to ask CA to fix the following bug. Soldiers in game got only 2 different face skins even on the highest details. I'm pretty sure that is a bug because I've checked the .dds textures files and every unit has 4 different face skins. Unfortunately the game uses only first and second face.... more info |

Hello RTW players. My name is Caius, and I've been a RTW player since 2006.
It is very sad to see people leaving, specially when people forgets how many times this game has taken away us from doing other things. It's sad, now this sub-forum is almost dead.
What I'm planning to do is to seek any of those players who are willing to Charge once more. I'm proposing you all to take part in this PbEM, this shouldn't take you a lot of time and it is a fun thing. In order to do such a thing I need all the players we can gather, and will.
I have been thinking in calling it "Hispania". A RTW 1.5 Vanilla game with Normal size of units, with Spain as the faction.
How that works? Everyone takes a Faction Member, and there will be meeting where motions will be arosen by the members of the Faction. Then a Poll is created and Members vote. Every player will have to control that character and he will have to behave as he has been told if any motions forces him to do something in special. After Action Report are a must, everyone has to take pictures and write Reports.
What do you say? We need at least, 8 STABLE players to begin. Any changes? Proposals? Counter-Proposals?
I need your opinion.

It was at 9 AM on October fourteenth, AD 1066, that an ambitious Duke from Normandy took his land-hungry forces and hurled them against arguably the best warriors in Western Europe - the feared English Housecarls of Harold Godwinson, King of England...
The result of that battle is well known. It signalled the demise of the Anglo-Danish rule over England and the beginning of the Norman yoke that was to be borne by many Englishmen for many generations....
But perhaps you can change that history?
